Craft Workshop

Following on from last year's highly successful event we held another craft day on Wednesday 5 April 2017

from 10:00am to 4:00pm

A great day was had by all at our second Church Craft Day.  We had over 50 people who learnt needle felting, sewing, sketching, flower arranging, crochet, Knitting, beading, card and box making and more.  Many thanks to Cherry and her team for organising it.

Take a look at some of the activities below.

Some of the things we made in 2016 can be seen below

Camerata Singers Concert                       13 May at 19:30

The Camerata Singers are looking forward to entertaining with you a very wide range of songs from sacred to silly that include spirituals, madrigals, folksongs and songs from the shows.

The Chelmsford-based Camerata Singers were founded in 1969 by colleagues at the Marconi Research Group in Great Baddow.  Although a few of us have worked for Marconi, none of the group now works for the Company.    The Singers perform mostly a cappella (unaccompanied) and their repertoire covers sacred and secular music from the fifteenth to the twenty-first century.  They frequently perform concerts, recitals, choral evensong and other services, including weddings, at locations all over Essex and occasionally further afield.  Last year they sang at Chelmsford Cathedral (choral evensong), Great Totham, Little Totham (concert), East Mersea, Hadleigh (Harvest Festival entertainment) and St Peter’s Chapel, Bradwell (evensong).
