    Messy Church

Messy Church is a way of being in church for families. The aim is for the children and parents to have fun whilst learning something about the Christian faith.

Messy Church involves creativity, hospitality and celebration.  At our Messy Church sessions we have a theme and there are numerous craft activities set out around the church for the children to do which are linked to that theme. The session ends in a short act of worship, which is very simple and appropriate for the children and is again linked to the theme of the session.

All Welcome!

SUMMER HOLIDAY MESSY CHURCH - 2020

MESSY CHURCH - WEEK SIX

For the final Messy Church this week, we looked at the colours indigo and violet making a night sky in a bottle using glitter and stars, a panda climbing bamboo to eat leaves and a violet 'love you' card using cut out hands!

MESSY CHURCH - WEEK FIVE

This week was the colour blue and we made a boat to tell the story of Jesus getting the fishermen to throw the nets over the other side of the boat, a rock pool out of an egg box to store treasured shells and an expanding crocodile.

MESSY CHUCH - WEEK FOUR

This week's Messy Church is based on the colour green and God's creation.  Psalm 23 - The Lord is my Shepherd is the inspiration for 'my cup overflows', there is a green frog to make and a weather tube,
